Deward and Phoebe were heavily involved with this to the extent that they are still referred to as “Mom” and ”Dad” by the Troung family. Schmeltz, 95, of Bowling Green, Ohio passed away peacefully at her home on December 10, 2022, surrounded by family. She was born October 6, 1927 in Toledo, Ohio, to Lloyd and Helene Hurrelbrink. She married William F. Schmeltz on January 24, 1948 at the Epiphany Lutheran Church in Toledo, Ohio.
James L. Glassford, 84, of Grand Rapids, Ohio, passed away peacefully on December 7, 2022 at his home following a brief illness. He was born March 5, 1938 in Bowling Green, Ohio to Ora and Fanny Glassford. Dennis Johnson “Denny” Dorman, 76, of Findlay, passed from this earth on Saturday, December 10, 2022 at the Bridge Hospice Care Center. Denny was born on November 5, 1946 in Bluffton,Ohio to the late Jacob Lester and Gladys May Dorman. On December 18, 1965 he married the love of his life, Lynn Kaye Wilkinson in Bloomdale and she preceded him in death on September 6, 2014 after 48 years of marriage. They went on to raise four children; son Randolph G. Schmeltz, of Bowling Green, Ohio; daughters, Catherine A. Schmeltz, of Columbus, Ohio; Dr. Christine... Phoebe graduated from Broadway High School and attended Eastern Mennonite School. They lived briefly in Kalona before moving to Broadway, VA where they spent the rest of their lives prior to going to VMRC in 2005. Deward and Phoebe both volunteered many hours with Gift and Thrift and Booksavers after retirement.

Mr. Brenneman was owner and operator of Brenneman Industries. One of his favorite things was going to races and watching the sprint cars. He was a member of Shawnee United Methodist Church, taught Sunday School, belonged to the Leadership Board, was a Lay pastor, and enjoyed reading scripture.
He brought comfort and cheer as he made his visits to shut ins and people in the hospitals. He will be remembered for his devotion to God, the church, and fellow man.
