This popular show holds true to the original as it focuses on the story of Belle and the Beast including favorite songs along with the two songs written by Alan Menken and Tim Rice for the reimagined film. The live stage show includes puppetry, modern theatrical design, and impressive story-telling techniques. In our experience, these shops typically have only a handful of people in them at a time, and are majorly underutilized. Now, I “get” that high end third party retail is both expected on cruise ships and is (somehow) lucrative for Disney Cruise Line. Disney Cruise Line (thankfully) does not follow industry standards on that, and they don’t need to do so with luxury retail, either. No specifics were provided as to the substance of the suite that’ll be pulled from the park, so it sounds probably more like it’ll be a vibe.
Port Canaveral, Florida
Inspired by the fateful flower at the heart of the story, The Rose will be an idyllic setting for a pre-dinner aperitif or after-dinner cocktail. In addition, adults can indulge in sun-drenched serenity at Quiet Cove, a peaceful refuge dedicated to lounging, sipping and soaking. Surrounded by both the open ocean and sky, the adventures will continue on the upper decks of the Disney Treasure with three distinct districts offering fun water activities, quick and casual dining options and plenty of space to relax and soak up the sun. There is a missing date starting January 4, 2025, this cruise was not listed in the release brochure and it could indicate this voyage is reserved for a private charter such as a DVC Member Cruise, or it may just be an oversight. Starting in December 2024, the Disney Treasure will sail its inaugural season of Caribbean cruises, from its new home port of Port Canaveral, Florida. The Untangled Spa is inspired by Rapunzel and offers manicures, pedicures, teeth whitening, and skin treatments.
ADULT DINING
Named for Walt Disney’s early childhood hometown in Missouri, Marceline Market will be a stylish food hall aboard the Disney Treasure inspired by popular marketplaces from around the world. Cinephiles will have the opportunity to view watch first-run films from Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Lucasfilm and more in one of two intimate, luxe screening rooms. The Never Land and Wonderland Cinemas return on the Wish class featuring the latest visual and audio technology. Jade Cricket Café, inspired by the classic Disney film “Mulan,” will honor the Fa Family’s “lucky” cricket, Cri-Kee, who will be represented by a jade sculpture on the bar top. From the central moon gate to the plum blossom flowers adorning the walls, symbols of Mulan’s strength, beauty and heritage will fill the café, while the striking blue walls and metallic counters will be reminiscent of her armor. Just off the Grand Hall, guests will encounter two casual walk-up cafes offering a selection of coffee, tea, specialty beverages and snacks, with new themes that draw inspiration from two brave Disney Princesses, Moana and Mulan.
Disney Treasure Stage Shows
The Disney Treasure’s Maiden Voyage is official scheduled for December 21, 2024 on a special 7-night maiden Eastern Caribbean voyage sailing over Christmas. The Disney Fantasy will shift departure dates allowing the Disney Treasure to over Saturday 7-night Caribbean sailings. He is an expert on helping families save money and experience more at Disney, Universal, and beyond. He has been featured in Forbes, ABC7, Travel+Leisure, the OC Register, Orange County Register, LA Times, Yahoo! News, and more. This new Moana show sounds incredible as it features new larger-than-life puppets by the puppet designers who worked on Disney’s Tony Award-winning musical “The Lion King” on Broadway.
The largest puppe featured will be Te Kā which is on a scale Disney Cruise Line has never before produced. This same giant Te Kā puppet will transform into the gentle island goddess of Te Fiti once Moana restores her heart. The live entertainment on Disney Cruise Lines is a must-see as these are Broadway-caliber performances unique to these cruises.
But don't despair if that's out of range, as there are much less expensive ways to sail on Disney Treasure — though with only weeklong cruises on offer, there are no bargain basement prices to be found. Outside of the maiden voyages, Disney Treasure inside-cabin fares start at $3,845 for double occupancy or $6,271 for a family of four. Verandah cabins start at close to $8,000 for a family, and concierge cabins start around $15,000.
LOUNGES
There are so many other possible themes they could use that it will be interesting to see which one is chosen. Therefore either the Treasure will simply have Enchante in the same form, but it is more likely that there will be a different high-end restaurant themed after another Disney movie. The presentation video showed these characters in the portholes of the Disney Treasure. So what we see here is obviously, one themed after a movie, one themed after a movie franchise, and another with a nostalgic connection to Walt Disney and his brother Roy. Many guests on the Disney Wish have also pointed out the serious lack of pool space for adults. Many guests have raised the issue that there are a lot of “dead ends” on the ship and that navigation is very difficult.
The primary spot for theatrical productions on board the ship will be the Walt Disney Theatre. Both “Beauty and the Beast” and “Disney Seas the Adventure” will entertain cruisers in the theater, and there will also be a new, not-yet-announced play at sea. This ship’s ride is centered around a brand-new storyline for Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse as they search for treasure in an ancient temple. The two-person ride vehicles carry guests from the upper decks through 760 feet of winding tubes. While the Disney Treasure will have some things in common with its sister ship, the Disney Wish, Sharon Siskie, the senior vice president and general manager of Disney Cruise Line, shared the Disney Treasure will bring new stories to life and present a one-of-a-kind adventure for guests.
Disney Wish introduced the concept of a nearly 2,000-square-foot, multiroom suite in the ship's faux funnel. While its Tower Suite was themed to "Moana," Disney Treasure's version will be inspired by Epcot and feature a futuristic design. The Beauty and the Beast stage show, already featured aboard the Disney Dream, will also be playing onboard the new Disney Treasure.

Much like in the "Frozen"-themed space that it is replacing from Disney Wish, this is a "dinner in the round" concept with music, dancing and characters from the "Coco" film performing on stage and making their way around the room during dinner. Adventure awaits guests beneath a tangle of untamed foliage at Skipper Society, a centrally located outpost that will feature refined nods to the iconic Jungle Cruise attraction at Disney theme parks around the globe. Aside from all the amazing live stage performances, interactive dining experiences, and Disney Parks-inspired lounges, there is still a full list of Disney Cruise Line recreation for adults and kids to enjoy on the Disney Treasure.
The design of this lounge will feature submarine-style interiors along with 19th-century steampunk influences with metal and industrial touches. The lounge also features a window along the ceiling which will make guests feel like Captain Nemo on the Nautilus. This new lounge will immerse guests inside the nautilus and they might just see the squid go past the mysterious window! The menu will focus on craft brews and light snacks which is fitting with the atmosphere of the lounge.
The placing of the small seating area is more central in the Wish, whereas it is off to the side in the Treasure concept art. This design feature has been very well received therefore it is very likely that Disney Treasure will have themed rooms. The next Disney Cruise Line ship will be adventure-themed and named Disney Treasure. My other biggest hope with the Disney Treasure is that it’ll correct unforced layout errors with the Disney Wish.
